Rigging and Lifting

Rigging and Lifting refers to the process of using equipment, tools, and techniques to safely and efficiently move heavy objects or loads, typically in industrial, construction, shipping settings, and port operations.

Rigging involves the setup of hardware (such as ropes, chains, slings, and hooks) and the planning of lifting operations to ensure safety and minimize risk. Lifting focuses on the actual movement or hoisting of loads. D-shackle are hardware devices used for securing or lifting heavy loads.

D-Shackles secure formwork panels during crane lifts, while chain slings handle concrete buckets (50-200L capacities). Twistlocks and lashing chains secure 20ft/40ft units at JNPT; bridge fittings handle Ro-Ro vehicles. D-shackles connect securing wires.
